Greencastle,
July 31 – Charles Marshall, former Putnam County assessor for eight consecutive
years died in his home at Greencastle early Tuesday. He also had served eight
years as township assessor prior to his election as county assessor. The widow,
a daughter, one brother and two stepdaughters survive. - kbz
